2023-2024 InterClub Competition Round 6 – Prospect Petanque Club – 19th May 2024

Another good turnout of 32 teams fronted up for the final and deciding round of the 2023/24 Interclub season.

Most of the positions on the ladder were still in contention, including the premiership itself, but second-placed Adelaide needed an exceptional result to reel in ESP. 2023-2024 InterClub Competition Round 5 – Club de Petanque d’Adelaide – 24th March 2024

A near-record turnout of 32 teams contested Round 5 at Club d’Adelaide in perfect weather conditions.

Taking out the day’s top honours were the familiar faces of Vincent Bulone, Ha Nguyen & Van Nguyen. This is their fourth win of the season and they become the first unchanged trio to achieve that feat. The silver medals went to Rada Pierre, Alain Rousse & Adrian Clements, from Adelaide, and ESP’s Dave Ward, Ray Drummond & Craig Stewart rounded out the top three.Continue reading→

2024 INTERSTATE CHALLENGE – EOI CLOSE EXTENDED TO 12th APRIL 2024

The South Australian Petanque League is inviting Expressions of Interest from players interested in representing SA at the 2024 Interstate Challenge to be held at the Bert Smith Community Centre at Nerang on the Gold Coast, on the 24th and 25th August 2024..

Attached are the details for the team selection and training process and an “Expression of Interest” form.

SAPL players who are interested in taking part should complete the form and return it to Adrian Clements by the 12th April 2024 (clementsadrian@hotmail.com).
