Wendy Bensen Deb Rodda & Selina Dally runners up ladies Triples at the Australian Nationals Easter Championships in Melbourne. And double congratulations to Deb, runner up ladies doubles with Cathy Ayre. Go girls!
The PFA has it’s first fund-raising effort in association with the Australian Sports Foundation is the HELP GET OUR JUNIORS TO CHINA campaign.
They are looking to raise $10,000 to cover the travel costs of their 4 junior players Bronson Romani, Logan Romani, Zac Diep Nicholson and Khrishika Ramjuttun who are representing Australia in the Junior World Championships in Kaihua, Zhejiang Province, China in November.
The PFA really needs all your help with this, otherwise the cost of getting these great young players to the championship falls on their parents.

Please share the attached flyer and spread the word with your community of friends, business contacts and any other potential sponsors, it doesn’t matter how big or small the donation is, they will all help to get these guys to China.
The SAPL Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday, 29 July at 10 am in the Club de Pétanque d’Adelaide club rooms.
We have a legal requirement to hold an Annual General Meeting. However, the AGM should not
be considered a chore. It gives us all the opportunity to gather together, review the successes and
problems of the past year and to get new people involved in the administration of the League. In
this way we will all ensure that the League continues to prosper and grow with the support of clubs
and players in its activities and governance. Your Club will have one vote at the AGM, however all
your club members are welcome to attend and participate, please encourage them to do so.
This year the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer are up for re-election.
If you know of anyone who would be interested in standing for one of these positions please let me
know with a short Bio by the 15 July.Continue reading
On the 1st April 2017, Club De Petanque D’Adelaide will be celebrating their 40th Anniversary with a dinner at the club.
The club, which is Australia’s oldest pétanque club, would love for as many as possible to come along and help celebrate this milestone.
As always dinner will be by our Master chefs Rada and Claudia, with entertainment provided by Tina.
