Seventy-eight players took part in this year’s State Triples Championship, which is almost certainly a record attendance for this event. It was a diverse crowd, including thirteen previous title holders and about the same number of players entering their first SAPL championship. 2022-2023 InterClub Competition Round 1 – Prospect Petanque Club – 24th July 2022
Ninety-nine players turned out to get the new SAPL Interclub season underway. Despite the wintry weather and a pandemic that continues to reach new heights, this equalled the highest ever attendance record for this competition, set two years ago.
