Ninety-nine players turned out to get the new SAPL Interclub season underway. Despite the wintry weather and a pandemic that continues to reach new heights, this equalled the highest ever attendance record for this competition, set two years ago. The South Australian Petanque League held Round 1 of its 2022-2023 InterClub competition on Sunday 24th July 2022. The tournament was hosted by the Prospect Petanque Club.
